Hina Arif, MD is the Chief of Abdominal Imaging and the Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs in the Department of Medical Imaging. She also serves as Director of the Abdominal Radiology Fellowship Program. After her radiology residency training, Dr. Arif completed several advanced imaging fellowships, including Abdominal Imaging and Non-vascular Intervention fellowship at the University of British Columbia, and subsequently an MRI Translational Science and Imaging Fellowship at the University of Arizona. Dr. Arif has special research interests in the imaging of pelvic floor dysfunction with dynamic magnetic resonance imaging and translabial ultrasound and thoracic outlet obstruction imaging by magnetic resonance angiography, presenting her work at multiple national and international scientific conferences. Within the past several years, Dr. Arif’s work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Arif also does recurring educational work for the ACR through the Body and Pelvic MRI course.
