Dr. Bracamonte serves as Director of Surgical Pathology and oversees the Histopathology laboratory at University Medical Center. In addition to providing surgical pathology diagnostic interpretations, she directs the renal biopsy service, including light microscopy, immunofluorescence and electron microscopic evaluation of native and allograft renal biopsies. Dr. Bracamonte serves as Director of the Post-Sophomore Fellowship program for medical students interested in spending a year in the pathology department. In addition to teaching pathology residents and fellows, she is intimately involved in the Arizona Med Curriculum of the College of Medicine, where her lecture topics include the pathology of acute and chronic inflammation, medical renal disease, and genitourinary pathology.
