Several other modules have also been developed to assist faculty improve their skills, thereby enhancing their effectiveness and facilitating career advancement. Several workshops from the lists below will be offered each year.
Teaching/Instruction
This module relies heavily on the Faculty Instructional Development (FID) Series developed by Curricular Affairs in collaboration with the Academy of Medical Education Scholars (AMES). Taught by master teachers, the series includes sessions on creating and maintaining educational portfolios, bedside teaching strategies, and using technology in the classroom. Many of these sessions have been podcast.
